Well, the cartoon has to be set later than 1.5 ABY - remember, it spans the full array of seasons seen on Endor...probably at least a year between the two seasons. And, as of 1.5 ABY, in SW: Galaxies, Morag (The Tulgah Witch) is still alive, which is no longer the case as of the 8th episode of the Ewoks cartoon.

Tasty, is the cartoon Ewok series before the two live action movies, Caravan of Courage and +The Battle for Endor+?
P.S. - This is probably wrong, but Wookieepedia has the cartoon series set at 1.5 BBY.

Sue, any chance that Elizabeth Hand will be involoved with any other Star Wars books? I like her style of writing, very discriptive.

I should be able to give you details about the October 08 hardcover within the next couple of weeks. The last one is being held open and won't be assigned for some time yet.
I'd like to do more side books, but none are actually in the system at this moment. Things change though....

Sue, When are we going to find out when the last two books that have no author/story will take place? Any ideas? Also, are you guys planning more side books like Karen Traviss novel that came out on Feb.? That was a very good book.

The Ewok movies have to be set post-ESB, because the story in the Illustrated SW Universe mentions armor left over from Hoth, and also features Charal and King Terak (who were transformed at the end of Battle for Endor.)

That's interesting. Unless I'm mistaken, that's a change from the older accepted date (approx. 3BBY - 0BY). Can you tell us the reasoning behind the 3 ABY dating?
The 3 ABY dating (technically, it should be 3.5) is from the timeline in Behind the Magic. This is the date we've been going by since 1998, if not earlier. Have you seen a different timeline position elsewhere? Placing it at 3 BBY doesn't seem to fit Wicket's timeline; he would have been about 5 years old.

*Sue, is be patient the biggest hint I'm going to get for a while? (if you could tell me more it would be really nice, but if you can't I'll understand, I really will) It must be really hard knowing all this stuff and not being able to tell anyone, I mean do you get someone you get to tell all the secrets to, like after you edited SbS did you get to call someone and start screaming " Anakin dies in the next book!!" , or do you just have to hold it all in? cause having to hold it all in would stink Oh, and one more question, how do I get your job cause you ,IMHO, have one of the coolest jobs in the world ,all editors do really (and i'm not buttering you up, really, I'm not) *
Yeah, that's the only hint you're going to get for a while.
Telling secrets -- I can always talk with the other folks I work with, those who already know! It is sometimes hard not to blurt stuff out here on these threads. Sometimes I do anyway....I just get this urge to share stuff that really gets me excited.
Editing is a very cool job. I don't have the stress of trying to write, but I still get to be involved creatively, and I get to read the rough drafts and mark them up! It is awesome to work with such a fab group of authors and other editors (Shelly!) when it's so clear that we all have the same goals in mind -- awesome and inspiring SW books.
And I feel very supported by you all... and that makes all the difference. You guys rock. And I'm not buttering you up! Really!

*Another question. Do you have an idea of the date
of the release of Bloodlines Dramatis Personae,
please?*
I thought it would be best to wait until after
Betrayal comes out.... I'll release the DP then,
along with the occasional witty and provocative line
I come across.....
Indeed. Please do Sue. Its so great looking at Indiser seeing your name and then coming on the pc and talking to you.

Hey Sue,
In the comic article for insider 87 Dan Wallace wrote "so how did Tank remain a mystery for more than 20 years?" It was worth the wait, the empire/rebellion comic series with Tank and Luke is really great so far and I'm looking forward to how it ends.
My question is how long will Darth Plaguis and Sifo-Dyas remain a mystery?
Thanxs Sue.
